In 2018, my husband and I moved to Berrien County and we have loved living here ever since! I graduated from WMU with a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development in 2016 and have been working with families in some capacity my whole adult life. I love reading, crocheting, and moving my body!
I became a mom in January 2024 to the best little girl ever, Ruth! I overprepared for my labor and delivery and underprepared for breastfeeding. I didn't know or understand the mental and physical toll it would take. There were many ups and downs in our first year. In July 2024, I decided to become a Certified Lactation Counselor and start my journey to becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I've been lucky enough to work with a mentor who is helping me gain my clinical hours so I can sit for my board exam.Â
My daughter and I have exclusively breastfed for 2 years and I want to help educate and empower others on their feeding journey to feel confident and prepared; whether that includes breastfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, or formula feeding. I'm here to help with it all!
